Eastside Boxing carries forward a rich legacy rooted in the history of the Peterborough Boxing Club, founded in 1977. Over the years, the club has hosted iconic events, including the Provincial Championships at Trent University and closed-circuit fights featuring legends such as Larry Holmes, Marvin Hagler, Sugar Ray Leonard, and Thomas Hearns. It was also home to Peterborough’s first professional boxing show at the Memorial Centre.
This space has long served as a hub for boxing excellence and community, evolving over time while remaining true to its roots. Today, Eastside Boxing builds on that tradition, offering a place for everyone to train, grow, and be part of something extraordinary.
