Become affiliated with the official governing body for Olympic-style boxing in Ontario.
At least one registered coach is required to be affiliated with your club.

Certified Boxing Coach
At least one certified boxing coach is required in order to register a club. This individual must have completed the Instruction Beginners coaching course and evaluation via Boxing Canada. All upcoming coaching courses are listed on our Event Calendar.
Coach Registration
Must be registered with Boxing Ontario and completed the required documents/courses:
Vulnerable Sector Background Check (within the last 3 years)
Safe Sport Training (located under the E-learning tab on The Locker)
Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders
Making Head Way in Sport (located under the E-learning tab on The Locker)
Step 2: Accept Membership Conditions
1. Any competitive training and/or sparring will be supervised by a registered coach with at least Level One technical or Apprentice Coach module NCCP Certification.
2. All individuals who will be supervising training at the club must be registered members with Boxing Ontario and undergo a police records check.
3. All people’s names appearing on the club application form and sanction application forms must be members of Boxing Ontario.
4. All training must be conducted in a safe environment using safe equipment as outlined in Boxing Canada’s rulebook and in the NCCP coaching manuals. Club membership will be conditional at all times upon passing a safety inspection by an appointee of the Executive Committee. The inspection will consist of a checklist, approved by the Executive Committee, of safety features and a recommendation for continued membership of the club.
All registered clubs/gyms are subject to the same rules and regulations to ensure standard of quality in both instruction and safety. Please review conditions of acceptance thoroughly before submitting your application.
To become a registered club with Boxing Ontario, you must submit an online registration form to be reviewed. Upon receiving confirmation of an accepted registration, you will be eligible to register members including athletes (recreational, non-competitive sparring, competitive sparring), coaches, and officials.
All application approvals are subject to the discretion of the Executive Director and the Board of Directors.
