To honour our community and these invaluable contributions, we are delighted to open nominations for the 2026 Boxing Ontario Awards.
Female Athlete of the Year

Volunteer of the Year (Builder Award)
Athlete: Demonstrates exceptional skills, sportsmanship, and notable accomplishments in the ring. Serves as a role model for others and represents Boxing Ontario with integrity.
Coach: Inspires athletes to reach their full potential through mentorship and innovative training methods. Upholds the values of fair play, fosters a safe, respectful environment, and demonstrates a commitment to the growth and well-being of their athletes.
Official: An official whose steadfast support has significantly contributed to the growth and professionalism of Ontario Olympic-style boxing while promoting the rules, safety, and integrity of the sport.
Volunteer: Has significantly contributed to the growth, development, or organization of boxing activities, programs, and/or events in Ontario. Acts as a positive ambassador, fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members. Demonstrates leadership, sportsmanship, and professionalism in all volunteer efforts.
Award finalists and winners are selected by Boxing Ontario’s Board of Directors and will be chosen without bias based on the Awards Criteria and supporting submissions. If a nominee has won Boxing Ontario awards in the past, another nominee may be considered. Any suspensions or negative contributions to the sport may also be considered.
The awards will be presented in conjunction with Boxing Ontario’s 2026 Provincial Championships. Winners will be announced and celebrated during a ceremony at Provincials, with details to be announced.
We encourage all members – coaches, officials, athletes (competitive and recreational), club owners – to submit nominations highlighting outstanding achievements during the 2026 season.
