This tournament is open to Novice boxers only (0–10 bouts) in the following categories:
Male & Female:
Initiation Funbox (Born in 2016, 2017, 2018,2019,2020) **Those matched will be able to compete. Those without an opponent or on the waiting list may take part in the Funbox Sparring on Saturday, August 22, 2026.
Junior A U13(Born in 2014 & 2015)
Junior B U15 (Born in 2012 & 2013)
Junior C U17 (Born in 2010 & 2011)
Youth U19 (Born in 2008 & 2009)
Elite (Born 1986-2007)
Masters** (Born 1975-1985)
Note: Categories will generally be split into 0–5 bouts and 6–10 bouts. However, if this would exclude a boxer, categories may be combined under the Novice vs. Novice – Maximum 7-Bout Difference rule. All such matchups are subject to coach approval.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Active membership is required to engage in sparring activities and must be held for at least 90 days before engaging in competition or before engaging in a sanctioned event. If you are a new member and have been registered with Boxing Ontario for less than 90 days (after May 23, 2026), you will not be able to participate in this tournament and will be removed. If you are renewing your membership, please ensure you have registered with Boxing Ontario by June 1, 2026.

REFUND POLICY
REFUNDS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED ONCE THE DRAW IS COMPLETED. HOWEVER, REFUNDS WILL BE PROVIDED TO THOSE WHO DID NOT RECEIVE A BOUT.
**If a boxer withdraws after the tournament draw has been completed, they will be required to pay a $250.00 fee. Failure to submit this payment will result in the boxer being deemed not in good standing with Boxing Ontario, and they may be prohibited from participating in future Ontario Novice tournaments (at the discretion of the organizer).

✅ TOURNAMENT WEIGH-INS & MEDICALS: **Boxers must weigh-in on the day(s) they are scheduled to compete. Please always refer to the schedule for updates.

Friday Weigh-In Time: 2PM – 3PM ET
Saturday & Sunday Weigh-In Time: 8AM – 9AM ET
✅ MEMBERSHIP: Please ensure your Boxing Ontario membership (or membership from your province/territory/country) is up-to-date (2026 membership), including your yearly medical.
✅ YEARLY MEDICAL: If your yearly medical has expired, you have until Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 11:59 PM to submit a new medical conducted by a licensed MD to info@boxingontario.com. If your medical is not submitted to the Boxing Ontario office by this date, you will be removed from the tournament and refunded.
✅ BOXER BOOKS: Boxers must arrive to each weigh-in with completed book, including: name, photo, signature, and registration listed in the back.
Boxers showing up to the weigh-in station without books or completed medical forms will not be weighed in. Boxers who do not show up on time for weigh-ins (within the first hour) will not be weighed in.
✅ TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION: Tournament Coach Registration is mandatory in order to corner athletes and to receive a wristband at accreditation (which provides access to the field of play). Please scroll down to the bottom of the page for the registration link. Deadline: Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at 5:00 PM. Registration will not be conducted on site.
✅ MEMBERSHIP: Ontario Coaches must be registered with Boxing Ontario for 2026.

✅ COACHING CARD: A Coaching Card or a registration number with photo ID is required at all club competitions and tournaments. If you have not received your 2026 Boxing Ontario Coaching Card, please contact the office at info@boxingontario.com to receive your registration number.
✅ PRE-BOUT MEDICAL: Must be completed and signed by athlete and coach.
